Privacy

In short: Needle Jam asks for no account, contains no ads and no analytics, and sends us no data. What the game remembers stays on your iPhone.

What the game keeps on your iPhone

So you don't retype everything at every party, the app stores on the device only:

This data never leaves the device, except in backups you make of your iPhone yourself (iCloud or a computer), as with any app. Deleting a profile in the game, or deleting the app, erases it.

Music and Apple

The 30-second previews and album covers are loaded directly from Apple's servers. As with any web page, Apple then receives your device's IP address; Apple's privacy policy applies. No account is needed.

Full songs (optional). If you subscribe to Apple Music and choose to hear songs in full, iOS asks you to allow access to Apple Music. That permission is handled by Apple: we never see your Apple ID, your library or your listening history. The game uses it only to play the songs in the game. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music.

The website: beta sign-up

If you fill in the Join the beta form, we receive by email your name, your Apple ID email and where you heard about us.

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads.

What we don't do

Children

Needle Jam collects no personal data, including from children playing with their family.

Your rights

The app sends us no data: what it keeps is on your iPhone, under your control. For a beta sign-up, write to us to view, correct or delete it. For your Apple Music data, contact Apple.

Changes

If the way the app works changes, this page will be updated before the new version, with a new date.
